>>43095121I'm currently living at home with my parents, but they don't want me to live how I want, so I have to pretend around them. It's hard - it feels like I'm wearing a mask, and that I'm never the real me. A lot of the time I wonder why I'm even doing it, if things will get better. I have to tell myself that they will, or I'll give up on life. Sometimes it's easier and doesn't hurt as much, but sometimes I end up crying by myself in my room.
My anxiety comes and goes, I only figured out it was anxiety a year or so ago after talking with someone. I get really afraid about dumb little things and focus on them too much. After the earthquake on Wednesday I've woken up multiple times in the night thinking there was another one. When my dad is around me I get anxious and want to run away to my room, but being stuck indoors has made that really hard for me too.
I keep trying, though, even when it's hard. My personal belief is that things will get better eventually, even if you can't see it right now. I know the virus will eventually go away. Right now I'm clinging onto that while I'm indoors because it's all I've got right now.
