I personally really enjoy the entirety of the gen 6 OST (sand the gym theme). Other than that I like gen 2 and 5's a lot as well. 1 and 4 are very pleasant/nice, then 7 has some cool stuff but has a lot of really meeeeh tracks, and finally 8's is outright jarring and hurts to listen to imo.

gen 6 is pretty bad, even in the music department. however, I think that you're forgetting that kalos has SOME good tracks in it.
