Now that the dust has settled, can we agree that Gen 8 had the most mediocre, half-baked, forgettable Pokemon of any generation?
They largely have dull monotyping, weird cartoony designs that don't fit the rest of the series, and none of them really stand out as iconic or memorable. It's telling that even the anime can't be assed with using them, instead spending it's time focusing on Kanto Pokemon.
What would we lose if we just scrapped this whole Gen and started over?
