>>43121704>the storyEh, not really since you'd ned to pretty much change all of it. Or rather, everything about Team Flare's ideals and objective. You might be able to reuse the Flare aesthetics and the Great War backstory, but everything else needs to change.
>>43122059>My biggest gripe with Kalos as a region is that it's a geographic nightmare of biomes glued together because they needed to stick to a checklist instead of creating something that feels naturalHonestly? That's exactly how I felt about Sinnoh when playing it 13 or so years ago. It wasn't as bad as having a desert right next to a swamp, but it never felt alright to have two protagonists semi-ready for winter with those mufflers and hats (and somehow also short/no sleeves because?), but then there was only one snowy area in the region (with blizzards at that) while, simultaneously, there was also a summer resort at full operation. It was just so jarring. The transition from Hearthome to Pastoria was nice though.
>>43122083For fuck's sake, Galar has a desert right next to a freaking tundra, with literally just a wall separating them.
You also get a lustrous forest next to a wasteland with no transition whatsoever. Here are the nakes red rocks and suddenly healthy trees and mushrooms, just because.
>>43122194>By contrast, there's really no proper explanation for why there's a massive dust bowl north of Paris unless it was ground zero for AZ's doomsday deviceWait, might that be why all energy plants are there?
Actually, one of them is a geothermal station, which would indicate a level of volcanic activity, that in turn could easily mean excessive heat, sulfur and other chemicals impeding plant life.
If only we knew what was to come when we complained about those two or three inaccesible power plants...
