This is one of the biggest shit show I have ever seen in my life. The Galarien form and its evolution are a mess and ugly ass hell. The same with their types, why is Psychic changing its position? Such a mess concept and design, gross.

I always considered the first type to be primary and the second to be secondary desu. Like Pidgeot is just a regular animal who happens to fly, and garchomp is just a dragon who happens to dig. I want to know why Galarian Mr. Mime exists at all and why Mr. Rime wasn't just a regular Mr. Mime evolution. The ice typing is completely unnecessary and Mr. Rime's whole silent film actor concept would have made perfect sense as a follow up to the regular Mr. Mime.

That’s blatantly wrong though. Galar Mime unironically looks more pedo than Hypno. It’s goofy but not in an interesting way like Rime or regular Mime, it’s just bad.

Mr. Rime is a solid design, one of the very few in Gen 8. Galar Mime though is fucking terrible and uncanny looking. I'll agree with the primary types switching being dumb though. They should've been Fairy/Ice instead.

Nah, Mr. Rime should've been the Slowking to Mr. Mime's Slowbro instead. We need more split evolutions anyways, there's an odd lack of them in the series.

Part of me wishes that they’ll bypass the Eviolite bullshit someday and go back to true cross Gen evolutions — and make a counterpart to Mr. Rime, have it evolve from normal Mime, and call it Mime Sr.
Then the line would be complete.

Game Freak doesn't want to retcon existing Pokemon to have new evolutions so they create new versions of a Pokemon just so they can evolve.

Like how Galarian Linoone can evolve into Obstagoon but the other Linoone can't. Same goes for Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime.
