>>43115984A seahorses mouth is actually pretty interesting. Like the other sygnathids, seahorses are slow, deliberate feeders. This is reflected in their feeding style with. Their heads are basically designed around a trigger mechanism in their jaws that will create a vacuum with the twitch of a muscle. This is normally accompanied by a slight upward twitch of the head due to how the mechanisms works as shown.
It's sort of a delicate mechanism though. In some captive cases, a condition called weak snick can occur where damage has been done to the muscle that controls suction. This makes it so the seahorse has little control over its mouth, making it largely unable to feed. There could be several reasons for this such as bacterial infection, but conversely damage done by some commercial fish medications can also cause it. That's why you never treat a sick fish in the main tank. Shit doesn't easily wash off. Use a hospital tank.
Tldr real seahorse mouths are not too good for dick. Also not really good for shooting water either. Mostly suction, and even then, very brief suction that requires awkward head reorientation. Kingdra on the other hand doesn't even have a jaw to close and its gimmick is snipping shit which is basically the opposite of a vacuum. I'd say go ham, but be warned. Female kingdra are degenerates who are into
dancing, monogamy, and tail-holding. They'll also expect you to get knocked up and carry the baby to term.
