>>43120525Don't worry, I won't! If the selection of special items is the same as NL, then I'm hoping to receive the birthday shades or the hat.
>>43120585That's why I appreciate the thought! I was totally okay with my birthday disappearing this year, seeing as it's so low priority compared everything else, but making my own entertainment like this will probably make it more memorable than just meeting folks for dinner.
Maybe everyone who is having an April birthday could join in as well- I'm not the only one in this situation, after all.I think I'm a day behind, in a way, as I only had Blathers arrive yesterday (I didn't realise you had to keep giving critters to Nook!), so I have no idea if I'll get any move-ins today, or if it'll be tomorrow.
I think I read that the limit was 10 villagers, like it was in NL, but I don't know for sure. 10 is manageable, but I preferred 9 as it gave you room for a campsite move in if someone you liked arrived.
You mostly just end up keeping the ones you like aesthetically (and some of the villagers are truly abominable), but it's helpful to have at least one of each personality type otherwise you'll just get the same conversations over and over.
There's 8 total- male villagers are cranky, lazy, jock and smug; female villagers are normal, peppy, snooty and uchi (some sites translate this and use 'sisterly' instead). You start with a jock and an uchi, and I imagine the game will roll one of each personality for you until you reach whatever the limit is.
