Made this thread a week ago, but this is really bugging me

I am not talking recently I am saying from the beginning, I always wanted cool scenarios like in the show, but that was not possible with the gameboy's specs, during the first gen we got dogshit like snap and "hey you pikachu" instead of a cool adventure. After gen2 I started playing regularj rpgs, and they had the adventure of the anime within those games, I took one look at gen3 and the store and immediately dropped the series. I tried to pick it up years later in gen4, but it was honestly shit in comparison to the other jrpgs of the time.

Even among monster capturing games, arc the lad was leagues better and it was made the same year as pokemon. The only reason it didn't get as big was because it wasn't localized till 02'.


The series is one huge disappointment after another, I honestly don't get why anyone puts up with this shit. The series should have been 100 percent done in 3rd gen .
