The episodes focused on Team Rocket were the best in SM though. But yeah, if you don't like team rocket scenes, I don't see why you still watch teh anime, you are skipping like half of every episode.

I’d rather not waste my time on the “development” of a bunch of joke villains that doesn’t actually amount to anything. Ash and friends have grown as a trainers and people over the span of the series while TR are more or less the exact same losers they were over 22 years ago, incompetent trainers and all

Interesting you note development when Ash essentially resets at the end of each region and the secondary characters don't return.

Would have been a sound argument gen 1-4, but after that there's no continuity between series.
