Why do only half only half of the Johto Gym Leaders use Gen 2? I wouldn’t be so bothered if weren’t a lot of their teams were obviously scraping the bottom of the barrel when better alternatives existed. I mean shit like Morty having an extra Haunter instead of a Misdreavus or Bubsy using fucking cocoon mons instead of stuff like Pineco or Ledian. What was GF thinking back then?
