any giftmon before gen 5 has the normal chance to be shiny (because gen 5 started shiny locking stuff for shitty events ), because their stats aren't locked in place unlike npc trademons.

Not sure just got my vikavolt I was looking for now im trying to think what I want next. Maybe metagross maybe shuckle perhaps even slugma

Technically abomnisnow but it was from a wormhole in USUM I was collecting the legendaries and he just showed up. It was so easy it doesnt even feel real. In terms of was actually looking for it gruppin which I evolved into vikavolt. Took about 4 hours to get him.

I gave up looking for a spinirak in heartgold after som 15k spiniraks

In terms of shinies acquired Ultra sun in terms of time spent heartgold

Maybe slugma its such a nice silver.

I just caught my first shiny ever guys. It was a Wooloo. I've been playing since the beginning and never saw one. I ran into it accidentally while catching a Dweeble on route 1. It was my 6th battle with Wooloo, and no shiny charm yet.

Still recovering from my last successful Shiny hunt.
Will probably do Hidden Ability Mankey once I'm ready.

Hidden Ability Rufflet.
Took about 16 days and I encountered 10 other Shiny Rufflets before one with the Hidden Ability finally appeared.
Was relieved the Synchronizer worked.

Can't think of any off the top of my head.

The majority of my Shinies came from Pearl and Y, so I'd say those two games.

Shield 100% I started joining shiny raids and desired to hunt shit other people couldn't get by leeching. I've done Deino, the galar starters, Dracovish and Litten so far

Probably Dracovish so far maybe Gengar or Hydregion.

For some reason in gen 7 the checker doesn't block shiny Victini's Meloletta's and Hoopa's so if you really want one you can probably get someone to trade you one.

No they absolutely can, the real issue is they wanna sell the shiny at a later date for something like Original form Margearna being something to entice people into signing up for HOME to get all 800 plus pokemon to get it either through trading or buying the games themselves and putting them there

Right now they can get all of those pokemon themselves if they buy Gen 6 and 7 between those gens all pokemon are available

the rest i either need to warm up a bit more to (gen 8 legends aside from zacian) or aren't that good (most fall under either barely different or shitty colors, especially in Hoopa and Volcanion's case).
shiny locks are shit and should fucking die. victini's shiny has been unavailable without injecting for ALMOST A FUCKING DECADE.
