Fair enough. Kids at school at the time were always talking about this new pokemon thing. I watched it for the first time just cause was the first thing i found on tv that day and i was curious. and in the end they were right , it was fucking awesome. I kinda miss pokemania.

Pokémon only played on cable TV where I lived and we didn't have cable at home, but one day I saw a Pokémon VHS for cheap in a store and got my parents to buy it (I already played the games a lot). I thought it'd be a movie but it was a compilation of three episodes: The episode where he temporarily gets a Haunter, the episode where he uses Haunter to beat Sabrina, and the episode where he catches Primeape.

I started watching it when I was around 2 or 3, so I don't remember my first episode. But when I was small, I loved the episode where Ash goes to the haunted house and meets ghost pokemon for the first time. And the filler episodes of the trio just hiking through and getting from place to place always made me want to get out and go on adventures with friends
