Zamazenta would have been better off with the Steel/Fairy typing as well. Best defensive typing in the game. Also, give it Toxic and healing moves for its bulk.

Its biggest hope is if they decide to patch TM and natural learnsets, as well as existing move mechanics, basically like this >>43156198 except Dauntless Shield buffing both defenses which would be unrealistic and unnecessary.

Zamazenta and Zacian should have their types swapped, Zamazenta should get 10 more base points to def and sp def, Zamazenta should be able to learn body press and kings shield. Only then will they be balanced

That's understandable, thank you for the explanation. Man... I really hope they fix this dog up. At the very least, the absolute least, I just want a good Fighting-type move that isn't Close Combat. I can't believe the one decent Fighting STAB Zama has lowers both of their defences. Was GF snorting crack when they made this thing.

King's Shield would make sense from a flavor perspective, and even if it's worse than Protect in most instances, a -1 to Attack would certainly help against Zacian.
