Is there any pokémon you regret to use in your adventure party?

Pic related. I used Lopunny in Ultramoon and she became a dead weight around the time I arrived at Malie city and didn't become useful again until I could mega evolve it

If your opponent fucked up and let you set up Z-splash, you've effectively deleted everything that can't outspeed you.
Extremely deadly as a late cleanup sweeper.
Most pokemon suck if you use them incorrectly.

Anyone who likes Lopunny only does so because they want to fuck.
It has no cool factor. There's nothing inherently goofy or funny in it's design. IlNo redeeming stats or abilities. It's just there to look cute and for coomers to coom to.

This also goes for designs like Cinderace, Primarina, Salazzle, Tsareena, and Braixen.

Lairon is great in game, but after the 7th badge Hoenn is full of water types and special attackers. Even in the E4 Dusclops know Earthquake.
Plus it doesn't have a decent stab.

Even ingame it proves to be very versatile, competitive wise it can cripple whole teams if you are unaware of what it can do, and of course going of meta is fun.

Sandygast. Not Palossand, Sandygast. Evolves extremely late, except it's absolutely abysmal, super slow, and weak to Dark which is fucking everywhere during the third island. Palossand, on the other hand, actually turned out pretty useful since it has decent defense and a fairly good typing for the Elite Four. Sandygast really should have evolved earlier. At least Golett appears pretty late in BW1.

Exeggcute in Johto is a pretty miserable experience as well. The level up movepool and TMs it can get during Johto, both in GSC and HGSS, are absolutely horrendous, plus it's in the slow exp group in a game with the worst grinding. In Kanto it's good because it's easy to evolve, and you can get Psychic immediately, plus Mega (RBY)/Giga (FRLG) Drain. This leaves you either evolving early with nothing, or you lug around Exeggcute until like level 48. It's horrible. Exeggutor is good when you have one with good moves, but god damn it's really not worth the trouble.
