Okay, how about this:
>remove dark type
>remove steel type
>make psychic immune to ghost instead of weak to it
>remove all bug moves with a power higher than 50 (or 25x2, technically)
>make that bug move the signature move of a bug/poison type with pathetic stats
>merge special attack and special defense into a single type so that psychic types, which tend to be pretty high in one of those stats, can be pretty high in two stats for the price of one

A buff to Psychic is a buff to Tapu Lele, Alakazam, Latios, Latias, Slowbro, Victini, Jirachi, Reuniclus, not to mention various ubers like Necrozma-Dusk Mane, Lunala, Mewtwo, Deoxys...
You definitely wouldn't want that to happen if you were actually knowledgeable about the meta, especially if we are talking about offensive buff (doubly so if we are talking about something utterly retarded like removing the Steel resistance which would reduce Tapu Lele switchins to exactly zero)

I disagree. I think it's in a fair spot right now, at best I would get rid of Steel resisting it ala dark and ghost but nothing more.

According to the average /vp/ brainlet every type that is not Fairy, Water or Steel sucks. I have seen so many times people calling Dark, one of the best types in the game, a bad type on this board. You have people making threads about how awful Poison or Psychic type are and a few hours later seething about Toxapex and Tapu Lele. You get what I mean.

Tapu Lele's most defining characteristic is, aside from the priority blocking, the insanely strong Psychic attacks. They aren't seething about it because it is immune to Draco Meteor. If anything it is the perfect showcase of how easy it is to patch Psychic's coverage holes, Psychic+Fairy alone is already hard to wall and paired with Fighting it is legitimately perfect coverage aside from one Steel type.
Same applies to Alakazam and its mega(a mono Psychic type), which can achieve perfect coverage with three moves (Psychic, Focus Blast and Shadow Ball) and have a free slot for whatever the fuck it wants to run, whether it's setup, a support move or more coverage.
