No pokemon game looks good in comparison to other games on their system, even DP and BW look worse than a port of a SNES game with Chrono Trigger. Hopefully now that Sword and Shield have made Pokemon fans actually care about graphics, Game Freak will be less complacent and actually try visually

HGSS and BW(2) looked fine comparatively, because most DS games went 3D instead of 2D, even the best 3D looked like shit on the DS

But they don't clearly, dextards spent 4 months sperging about graphics and the games STILL sold 16.06m in 1.5 months. Not something they'd do if they actually cared about the graphics.

Nah, kinstone fusing was another flaw. Imagine if BOTW locked all that shit on the overworld behind collectibles you had to find at some random point later in the game. Nothing but cheap padding, which is a shame because all the hidden stuff in the MC overworld would have been great if you could just access it before you forgot it existed.

Fuck Minish Cap. I don't think it's an awful game on its own, but the other guy was right in how LttP was a better GBA experience, and all the GBC games were better too. Of handhelds, I'd say only Phantom Hourglass is worse (though I haven't tried Spirit Tracks)
