You can’t because it isn’t alive, you can’t poison rocks or fire either. Pokemon like excadrill or lucario are not completely made of steel, they get the type because they have metal parts/powers. If anything they should resist poison. Moves like acid could work like freeze-dry, its a shame gf wont ever care
