>Water TravelLapras is the cliche boring answer, but that's a reason. It's friendly, intelligent, and it can fire concentrated beams of cold from its mouth. It's large and presumably requires a large amount of sustenance due to its size, but so long as we remain near coasts that shouldn't be an issue.
>Air TravelAgain, another really easy pick. Tropius is a plant, so you probably don't even have to feed it anything but sunshine and water, and its body naturally produces edible fruit which makes it an invaluable resource.
