This argument is almost as retarded as the "Charizard should have been Dragon" argument. No it fucking should not have. How imbalanced would it have been to have a Dragon-type starter against a Water and a Grass/Poison? The same logic applies to Onix; it's an early game shitmon used by one of the earliest gym leaders. It CAN'T be that good or else Brock would have been a wall.
