literally the worst pokemon ever created. it’s just a worse version of an already pretty irrelevent mythical that serves no purpose other than advertisement for its movie.

I've never actually used a Phione, but it seems like it's really powerful. How does it serve no purpose?

what even slightly gives off that impression

Does string shot seem really powerful to you? It was banned under VGC18 while Mega-Ray is only allowed during special years of VGC where every uber powerful Pokemon is legal too.

But no mythicals even when there are shitmons like Meloetta or Celebi and most of them would be perfectly fine in competitive (in fact only Deoxys, Darkrai, Shaymin S, Arceus, Genesect and Marshadow are ubers iirc)

I guess it's not power, but the fact that it's elusive. Everyone can obtain Mega-Ray.

In the same vein, I hope future VGC allow Deoxys or Delta Episode Equivalents.
