>>43207117I don't know, I'm always avidly surfing around here looking for any excuse at all to finally ditch USUM and most of the genuine discussions I see about the subject always boil down to QoL or raid battles as SS' more notable features. These are perfectly valid, but there's more to a Pokémon game than merely the online experience, so I get the impression that there's really not much to write home about outside of it.
You also seem to be confusing indifference with actively disliking something. I don't really hate LGPE and genuinely enjoyed it, but I still don't think it was a positive direction for the series or truly decent games on the whole. There was a lot they lacked.
I don't know if that cleared anything up, but no, I'm not just trolling or shitting out buzzwords, and I may indeed be slightly grasping at straws because I really want the next Switch Pokémon game to be more than just an average 3DS title, and if TCPi runs off of "more sales = good game" troll logic then I think we are fucked.
