You know the point he’s trying to make. GF has great ideas, but they almost always fuck up in the execution of said ideas. Dunno if it’s programming incompetence, time crunch, or a combination of both.

Why was this a thing? Out of all the battle types introduced in the series, Sky battles feels the most underdeveloped, it comes off as gamefreak just spit balling ideas and thought the idea sounded cool but never th thought about how they would execute it

the number of sky battles in the game is in the single digits too

at least triple/rotation battles were used a lot in gen 5
