I can definitely confirm first hand that they're much more intelligent and, for lack of a better word, exhibit personality, than most other arthropods like tarantulas or scorpions. They can stress easily, need social interactions with others of their kind and establish hierarchies and relations, and enrichment in their tank.

At least in traditional intelligence, not weird eusocial insect intelligence like ant and bee colonies, which is far more alien.
