>>43223193Oh yes, Hoenn is such a great region with so many quality towns like Verdanturf or Fallarbor which you'll literally pass by in 5 seconds, and all those long routes of nothing in them but wild encounters and maybe secret bases (which are pointless to look for more once you make one)
Hoenn is bogged with filler. The Regi puzzle is cool, and so is the Sky Pillar's gimmick, but exploration is a joke because of how small the dungeons are (if you can even call them that since a bunch are like 1-3 rooms long), and the better ones don't even have anything cool to find, unlike gen 1-2 having rare Pokemon like Articuno, Lapras, Tyrogue, or similar stuff for your trouble
