I was like 14 when I played Blue from a friend.
Then he sold me his gbc with yellow and silver which were fake. Stadium didn't recognize them and he knew it, since he had stadium and lied to me.

Well at least my copies worked fine. They just couldn't trade with stadiums.
So I played them to death, and got like 300 hours in yellow but the counter stopped at 99:00. And I got like another 260 in Silver, then the battery died.

Got Red from Mom/Dad and Blue from Grandma for Christmas in 1998. I can still close my eyes and see myself ripping off the wrapping paper, then the instant excitement at seeing what was underneath, jumping up screaming with joy. Happy days.
