Generation 6 has the WORST looking second evolution stages for its starters
I am not saying that they are completely awful, but compared to others they are just sub-par.

The latest batch has the worst middle stages ever by far. Quilladin comes close though. Braxien is fitting for its line, not worse than the evo or prevo . Frogadier is mostly just forgettable, like the sort of thing fans would design as a mid evo.

Gen VI has most of the worst things.

The worst story, the worst remakes, the worst starters, the worst champion, the most retarded story.

It doesn't have the worst Pokedex just because Gen IV is full of crossevolutions and legendaries

Drizzile is awful but I like thwacky, and raboot is ok which is a weird position to have because the only final gen 8 starter I like is inteleon

Furfox is good and Frogadier is "fine." Quilladin is the only really bad one. Compare to gen 8 where you've got Thwackey which is fine, Raboot which is kinda bad, and Drizzile which is a contender for top 10 all time worst designs and the answer is clear.

I hated the Gen 6 trio the first time I saw it but now it is probably my favorite overall. Even Shitnaught.

Gen 8 probably gets the award for the worst fucking middle stages in the history of the franchise with their obvious awkward teenager themes that overpower the shit out of them, at least the first and final stages are decent enough to make up for it.

Consider my first reaction to them and it's when I lose interest in any Gen 6 starters, I agree. Even I thought Gen 7 and Gen 8 are okay when I first see them (except Drizzile).
Gen 4 and Gen 5 are also meh.
