Short story where the player gets cut from every possibly interesting scene before the endgame. Postgame is short as hell
Pokemon designs get a bit mixed (some of them are pretty good, others are horrible, and others are just memes)
Camping is an improvement from previous Pokemon interactions, although it feels kinda rushed
Animations are atrocious. I wouldn't mind things like the dexcut if they at least gave us 200 well animated Pokemon and not just things like signature moves
Region with little to no exploration
No minigames despite Ultra SM having various of them
There are some pretty great characters in the games. Leon is pretty good, altough his obsession with his invincible Charizard kinda ruins it for me. Others have either great designs or nice moments in the main game
There were many improvements of life here and there and the return of single use TMs was a fantastic feature
Wild area is a pretty big hit, but really badly executed. If they took their time to improve things like optimization, weather conditions, Pokemon interactions and movements and added more things to do like some dungeons and puzzles to get rare Pokemon or items, they would be fantastic
Online interactions are better than SM, although raid battles tend to become a big pain
DLC is a way better alternative than third versions and should have been used ever since XY, but considering how short SwSh are and now expensive the DLC is (even for two parts) and how it contradicts what they estabilished months ago, it was a pretty bad timing
Trainer customization is the best we've ever had, but we don't have simpler customization like PC boxes or room customization
I would have loved to have Triples, Rotation and Royale battle types come back
They were decent games with various good aspects, especially improvements for training and competitive building, but the lack of content is notorious, as well as the flaws of a portable game on a home console.
