Calem (Xavier too) and Yvonne were childhood best friends, they start to get closer to each other throughout the game, and even though they didn't set their relationship at the end, that's pretty much implied that they fell in love with each other. In the manga, It's even more questionable that's just a mere friendship; In the beginning of the manga, It happens somehow Yvonne was his only friend who still supported him when he had fallen in depression. You could say anything you want, but it makes you doubt about.
They are a cute ship, unlike that toxic ship where Ash gives a fuck about her feelings because their autistic shonen protag mindset makes him think on battles and Pikachu's ass only; and Serena acts like a stupid yandere obsessed with that ugly nip.
