Just got a switch, never played a pokemon game.

Should I get Let's Go or Sword?

Is it true that Let's Go has mandatory motion controls? Because I don't want that, but Sword is not very good either?

Sword is a fine game dont let them tell you otherwise youll have fun. lets go is alright. motion controls are mandatory unless you play in handheld mode. both good games, but reccomend sword more

The game is terrible and doesn't deserve your money. the new pokemon suck massive dick and are terrible as well. Both let's go piss and SWSH are the worst games to have ever disgraced this franchise.

OP, the pokemon games on switch are hot garbage. If you like any other games or fandoms you should see if they have any on the switch. The switch has a lot of great games that I think you would love. The Pokemon titles are not included in those games.

Neither. In my opinion, you should play Crystal, Emerald, Fire Red/ Leaf Green, Platinum, Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Black/White, or Black 2/White 2 instead. Those are my favorite entries in the series.

Emulate HGSS or pick up a cheap 3DS and play Ultra Shit instead, honestly. If you have to choose between the two, Legpee sounds better if you're someone like me who just wants a cozy adventure with your [kanto only] bros at your side and Sword is a better choice if you're a competitive autist who just wants to shit around on multiplayer and doesn't care about anything else.

Neither, get Mario Odyssey or Breath of the Wild or Smash Ultimate or Animal Crossing New Horizons if you're dead set on keeping your Switch. Pokemon on Switch so far is absolute garbage.

If you really want to play one of those pick sword
I'd recommend playing a different franchise instead because you'll either play with constant babby mode (Let's go) or won't be able to experience the full game without paying 60+30 bucks (sword shield)
