I love the USUM games and I want to do another run through the region. I also want it to be challenging. Any suggestions besides exp share off?

Do a mono type team! The early variety makes it perfect for nearly every type. My run through with my ghost team in USUM was the most fun I’ve had in a Pokémon game in a while.

monotype is good
match other trainer's party size is good

if you can play mods i recommend supernova sun by dio vento. it's the most fun ive ever had in a mainline pokémon game

I don’t need fast I just don’t want mind numbingly slow. I just can’t do five seconds to start a wild encounter and 10 to get out of it. It’s the surf time too, it’s just awful. Sinnoh is a nice region besides the snow and swamp parts but it’s too slow

the gameplay to mind-numbing tedium ratio is already fucking terrible in most pokémon games and dia/pear adds massive fucking delays and 30 hp per second life bar tick
it's not uncommon to press A A and then wait for 30+ seconds before you can provide any input at all

Yes it is, the games were slower than RSE but nowhere near as slow as you autists make it out to be, either you actually have ADHD or your DS is broken

Sinnoh is the slowest game to date and while it ran fine on my 3DS it still took incredibly long amounts of time to do anything. I still can’t stomach getting to the Pokémon league on raw DP because of how slow surfing is. Even basic things like walking really take their time to make it really unpleasant

I'd seriously recommend you get yourself tested for ADHD, even as a hyperactive 10 year old I had no problem with Diamond and I used to play Ruby before it with the mach bike on constantly

wrong, your first rock type is either bonsly or rockruff and you only get them once you're done with the first island
also Alola is such a fucking breeze even with mono type, and the only difficulty in Nuzlocke is if you're unlucky with the captures, since there's always a perfect counter around the area
the whole region is a snoozefest

Well, rock is the last type to show up weirdly enough. You can get at least two of every type other besides ground (only 1) before fighting Hala.
