For the next pokemon game, you are allowed to design a team for the next champion, with no restrictions whatsoever besides the fact that you must only use existing pokemon.
You may choose to give them no gimmicks, megas/zmoves, or dynamax- with the player held to the same restrictions. You may not combine megas/z moves with dynamax.
How do you go about building a team that's challenging but not too difficult for the game's audience, balanced but thematically coherent, and creative but classic at the same time?
