You can, it just rolls shiny chance twice. Getting a shiny in Colosseum is the same as running into 2 shinies consecutively. So 1/8192 twice in a row.

I've lived extremely close to NYC all my life, I wish I got some of those when it was still the Pokemon Center. Hope they start doing stuff like that again.

Incorrect. It KINDA rolls the shiny chance twice, but neither is dependent on the other. Basically, what you see before you catch it has no bearing on what it actually is.

Every Pokemon has a 1/8192 chance to be shiny, but you only find out it’s shiny after you catch it. And if you happen to see an enemy trainer send out a shiny, it’s the same 1/8192 chance for it to be shiny after you catch it as everything else.
