It did a lot of interesting things with trainer classes like having Ace Trainers battling on top of surfing Pokémon on water routes (something that's surprisingly logical), using trainer classes from other regions like Backpackers and Fairy Tale Girls, and even introducing new trainer classes like Delinquents and Street Thugs.
