Serena I initially forgot about, but thinking about her now, her anime version can't be considered the same way as May and Dawn. May and Dawn closely share designs with added anime personality, meanwhile Serena is way younger in the anime and cuts her hair, all that making her very distinct from the game original. She is as much game Serena as Ash is game Red.
Lyra has a meme of her being batshit insane, Kris has absolutely nothing. Their gimmick is that they are so obscure it almost makes them exotic. Leaf is Leaf.
