Same reason rich people shoplift even though they can just buy it, they just love the thrill of shoplifting, just like how evil team guys want an adventure and leaders like Cyrus or Giovanni promise them just that, adventure, glory, camaraderie, and a neat looking uniform, everything a bored person could ever want.
