every mon on that team can be used on bulky offense except unaware quag.
at best you could argue it's a semistall because iron defense body press melmetal acts as a traditional wincon but that's really pushing it.

As for the retarded OP: Nobody denies that this is a stall team but the vast majority of these fucking Pokemon aren't even in gen 8 or they're not usable because Shadow Tag and Arena Trap got banned.

/vp/ literally has some weird persecution complex about stall and thinks anything that isn't 6 random offensive Pokemon is "dishonorable". Yes, stall does exist but it without consistent trapping it's really not that prevalent or troublesome. Greentexting about some shitty meme stall and calling it "balance" does not change the fact that most mouthbreathers on this board genuinely don't understand the difference between balance and stall. Having defensive Pokemon on your team does not mean it's stall because you're upset your bro Arcanine gets walled by Hippowdon. I've seen people say Landorus-T and Magearna are "stallmons".

This board is fucking clueless and the post above me with fucking 63 GXE just reinforces it.

Same goes for anything that uses sub+punch. Substitute is obviously exclusively for stalling.

Stall is a playstyle, not a certain category of Pokemon.
Yes, some Pokemon are great for stall (i.e. Toxapex) but there's no such thing as a "stallmon".

ferrothorn is pretty weak against stall imo. in gen 7 sableye just sits on it while in gen 8 clefable and corviknight just waste your PP by pivoting into each other wish passing and defogging infinitely.

All good players I know quit during the Baton Pass/Megamence experience. They deemed the game too sick and too broken at that point.

fullblown classic stall isn't viable in gen 8.
At worst there is a lot of semistall kind of teams with 5 walls and a kyurem, and maybe one of the walls has a setup move.
the issue comes from the newer smogonfags calling semistall teams "fat balance" and /vp/ calling anything with a defensive Pokemon on it "stall" which only adds to the confusion.

You shift the player priorities from winning as an ends to winning as a means to rise in the rankings. That makes everyone on Showdown not playing stall an opponent of long games.

The Clefable is probably Life Orb offensive too since defensively it doesn't pair well with the other two.
Also that team needs a god damn ground resist jesus christ how can you use a team that loses to fucking earthquake.

That team was really good but had a major weakness to Hatterene, especially with Trick Room, Calm Mind and Dynamax.
The only consistent way I dealt with Mystical Fire fairy types was dynamax Ferrothorn. Switching to Dracovish was risky.

No, it was defensive. Darmanitan and Dracovish were wallbreakers and I would stall out the rest of the enemy team with hazards, status and switching.

SWSH doesn't have powerful Earthquakes, and trying to set up makes you vulnerable to a reverse sweep from Ditto.
Not to mention, the most dangerous Earthquake in that meta was Darmanitan.
Are you going to risk switching a Flying-type into Icicle Crash?
Or Corviknight into Flare Blitz?
