I just want him to get INTERESTING pokemon, I don't care if they're popular. Gengar is fine for example, it's cool and can do loads of neat shit like vanish, go through the floor as a shadow and throw oppenents around with psychic powers.
That said, I don't think people are wrong for wanting him to catch more 'out there' pokemon, because they usually ARE the most interesting ones he gets. Gliscor, Hawlucha, Heracross, Scraggy, Krookodile etc, those niggas are fucking great and a nice surprise.
There's that and the ones he IS getting at the moment have been used by so many characters in important roles that they feel a little less 'special' now. Like, how many fuckers have had a Dragonite in this show? Even fucking Oak has one.
Of course, this is all irrelevent since he should be using his old pokemon in this series anyway and they're not going to fucking do that for whatever retarded reason.
