>>43278171>rillaboom is unpopularand who gives a shit about that? did you watch the Terry direct or did you forget one of the least-popular starters at the time eventually made it into Smash?
they literally pointed out that popularity wouldn't matter when it comes to deciding a character for the game.
even then, whatever that's picked was long before we knew about the Sw/Sh leaks, so this is a null and void.
>drum makes him too awkward as a fighteranything that seems too extraordinary for any basic bitch fighter that isn't Guilty Gear is much of a pleasure for Sakurai to actually work on for Smash.
unless you're trying to pull another "RIDLEY IS 2BIG", too bad, that's not going to convince anybody at this point.
>would ruin the game just like MK in brawl.and so would stuff like slowing time, random crits, & hooking your opponent to where you can shit out a meteor smash, and they manage to balance that out. Hell, Zard and Pit had gliding but those assholes were mid-tier as fuck Brawl.
this would be an exclusive trait for one character, so it'll be easy to keep things straight for the Smash team to balance per patch.
>both are unpopularInteleon is stupid popular
Urshifu is not even close to even being a popular legendary pokemon even, so you bragging about popularity for someone that said, he doesn't even account that over if the character playstyle is fun too
>could allow really good freeflowing combos and setupsnah, sounds like another shoto or generic fighting game protagonist
>every character has some kind of unique attributethat's true, but you're making of here doesn't allign to how he differs from other characters
Bayonetta in Smash doesn't have a trait where you have a lot of tether options for a heavy grappler. Imagine if one of the Belmonts also using his whip to do even command and normal grabs.
Grimm doesn't gunsling, slows time, summon a giant archdemon's limb, or do combos that would cause you to "wiggle around" to miraculously get out of it.
