When the art styles changes, Ash's design needs to be changed too so that he fits in with the other characters.

It happened with BW, it happened with XY, it happened with SM, and it's happened again with PM.

That's not what happened. New animation methods came out and cel animation just wasn't practical on a TV budget/schedule anymore. And the old 90s art styles just don't translate as well to digital TV animation. You can maybe pull off a few scenes but not a whole show, the art style had to adapt and then it also adapted to art style changes in the games too.

The same thing happened to American animation too.

I'd rather the world and characters look nice even if it mean there won't be cringey try-hard battle animations (like the one with Pikachu wearing Ash's hat in SM anime, god this scene was cringe...).
Anime should be about the pokemon world and seeing people/pokemon live in it since it isn't depicted in games.
Battles are already more than enough depicted in the games.

Battles are not depicted in the games. All we see is an abstraction of the battle, not the actual battle. We see the Pokemon standing on a battlefield, and then use our imagination to fill in the gaps.
