>>43284035>Your opponent has to do something to actually deploy his pokemon. Either:>>he has to outplay you with aggressive reads (or let you outplay yourself with cautious midgrouns) in order to get it out on a double switch or a predicted moveOr you know, force you to have a wall out that lacks will-o-wisp, which isn’t hard to do, and the pay off is typically getting 1 free kill.
>>he has to concede something of his own, whether it means letting you deploy hazards, heal a pokemon, activate a field effect like trick room, or sacking his own pokemon. For 1 turn, again, just so one of your Pokemon is dead, which is a far greater sacrifice than having you heal some time later.
>>he has to clear a pokemon's checks and anything that threatens it so that he can deploy it safely regardless of circumstancesOnly off the field, not the entire match, which again, requires you to sack a teammate while all they have to do is keep your check off the field.
and you forgot a few things.
U-turn, Volt Switch, Parting Shot, and Teleport (w/wish or without) all exist.
>The whole no switchins meme is retarded, especially if it involves prediction reliant choiced attackers.Except it isn’t dumb.
Being able to just get a kill consistently at the cost of some easy predictions is pretty broken.
>If some has been shitting on someone else, they definitely deserve to take a kill, especially if their prediction is on point.Except that their prediction is a 50/50 most of the time, where 50% of the time, they get a free kill, and the other 50% of the time, they have to bring their uncounterable Pokemon back to try again later.
>If I'm a retard and I let his breaker in in on a slow volt turn, no shit I deserve to lose a mon.>If I let something happen that I can’t prevent, then it’s my faultDo you even read the things you type out?
If the opponent has a slow U-turner, they are just going to send out a Pokemon that has the advantage over the Pokemon you currently have out.
