There's literally no reason for you to be forced to leave Pokemon in their game.

Spiky-eared Pichu, Cosplay Pikachu and etc should all be transferable if Gamefreak weren't run by hacks

Since starter pokemon have set personalities now it would have been cool to give them the partner status as well every starter pokemon gets walk with you and has special animations.It's the least they can do
