>>43281877The bug catchers in viridian forest have pokemon at an actually formidable level, if you didn't grind you're likely to be lower level with less pokemon. They're still beatable of course, but the game acknowledges that they're just weedle and caterpie and makes them an appropriate level. Plus, there's only 3 trainers in the forest with different teams so it's not as if it becomes tedious. Your comparison is shit because you assume there is something inherently wrong with putting trainers with weak mons at the beginning of the game when in reality the issue is that the bellsprout are so low leveled and that there are too many so it's tedious. That said, I don't have an issue with the tower, I'm not that impatient and the top floor is fine. I'm just saying your attempt to compare is flawed
