>tools constantly breakingPeople had the same complaint in BOTW. Breakable tools, or weapons, encourage the player to be constantly alert when using those tools. I thought it was bad in older animal crossings when you bought a tool and it just worked forever, I felt like I didn’t earn the use of that tool and crafting solves that.
I do not like the comparison of ACNH to SWSH at all. ACNH is polished and filled with new innovation and excellent game design. Is it a perfect game? No game ever was. Was it a waste of money? Hell no, I’ve played it every day since launch. However, I want my money back for every Pokémon game since sun and moon. None of those games lived up to their price tag like animal crossing does.
