I autistically tend to passively EV train in the main game while i'm travelling. Running from wild battles if they don't yeild the EV i want for my lead mon while i'm catching up on levels.
My audino, who at the time was my designated wall, I wanted her to have Sp.Def and HP EVs. Remembered that I hadn't found any yet, thought that was odd. Looked it up. There are 6 wild pokemon that yeild Sp.Def EVs in the Unova dex.

Pic related depicts the percentage distribution of EVs. If you were to battle every pokemon in gen 5 once each, over a third of the EVs you would get will be physical attack.
I don't have generation 7 or 8 because generation 7 gave stat boosts to certain mons and changed them. I was looking specifically for my situation, and only took the Gen 6 EVs. But we know gen 7 is really fucking SLOW, and I know nothing of gen 8.
