So with quarantine around, I thought i'd finally give Pokemon ROM Hacks a shake. I started off with the one people proclaim as the best, the one people wont shut up about. Light Platinum. Is this really the bar set for ROM Hacks? If this is it's best, i think ill pass on trying any others.

>Hilariously small routes that's probably due to shoehorning in more regions
>A billion Rivals causing them to be one note and forgettable
>Rival gauntlet fights to simulate 'difficulty'
>Barely any semblance of an actual world
>Insufferable story beats that repeat every SINGLE TIME

>Uh ho, evil team is here
>Fight evil team
>Two box art Pokemon fight
>3rd trio legendary arrives and stops the fighting
>Rinse and repeat

Is this the peak of Pokemon ROM hacks, or am I missing something here?
