Removed moves aren't coming back.
They weren't removed to save time, they were removed either to balance the game or because they were useless/pointless and removing them cuts some bloat from the game.

Yeah right. None of the removed moves were oppressive or overpowered. They were removed because Gamefreak needed to rush this shit out the door so TPC could sell more toys.

It's really telling that the Ghost type is completely overpowered without Pursuit.
People would realize the same thing with Flying if Stealth Rock were removed.
Hell, it's bad enough with the Heavy Duty Boots.
Imagine if Flying types got access to reliable, high BP STAB. It would break the game's ass open.

Nah, if they're in the DLC, you'll need the DLC to get access to them. Otherwise you'll need to trade for pokémon knowing those moves (or holding them if TR's), but I'd also guarantee without the DLC they probably won't work, like how Zeraora couldn't go to SM from USM as the data wasn't there for it.

Dragapult being as fast as it is with that much power wants Pursuit to balance it out. Last I heard it had Lando-T usage rates because of just how good it is with nothing to make you hesitant in adding it to a team.

There's Brave Bird and Acrobatics, as Hawlucha has demonstrated it can use well. Otherwise I agree. One of the scariest things to run into is Specs Pelipper because Hurricane + Weather Ball is hard to switch into, with rain guaranteeing the Hurricane hit.

That's only given to birds and bats, not all Flying types.
Aerodactyl, Dragonite, Salamence, Landorus-T, Gyarados would be insane with Brave Bird.
Special attacking fliers not named Pelipper would appreciate something with better than 70% accuracy, like an Aeroblast or Oblivion Wing.

I miss when Politoed was the lone non-legendary Drizzle mon. Gave it some notoriety especially with its complex evo method and gen 1 near-mascot legacy.

Then they decided to give it to a mon with Roost, Defog, U-Turn, and STAB of a powerful move that always hits in the weather it sets.

They were absolutely removed because of time constraints. We still have bloated moves in the game and we still have extremely powerful, useful moves that are easily beyond the level of anything that deleted.

Psychic type actually. Ghost is a good enough type that it deserves to be cucked by Pursuit. Psychic is bottom tier and crippled too hard by too many things, Pursuit being chief among them

Hidden power.
60 BP is not overpowered by any means and it's extremely important for checking certain mons, like fire for Ferrothorn and ice for anything whose type is any combination of dragon, flying, and ground.

They've confirmed that you can get all of the Pokemon added by the DLC (both brand-new and returning old Pokemon) by trading even if you don't own the DLC. There's no reason to assume moves would work differentely.

Kyurem-B is a fucking box legend, the fact that it was ever bad enough to be in OU to begin with was a mistake. It should've gotten much more then DD and Icicle Spear.

This. If they were cutting moves due to time constraints they would've removed things like Sucker Punch that have unique mechanics that take time to program, and while this is true for some of the cut moves like Pursuit, most of them are shit like Double Slap or Bubble (or moves exclusive to removed Pokemon like Sharpen) and the majority of complex moves were left in.

Moves were not cut to save time and if you believe otherwise you're a dumbass.

I don't play VGC but from what I understand Politoed is still the better rain setter there because it gets more support moves like Fake-Out and Encore, so Pelipper doesn't totally outclass it.

Politoed doesn't get fake out. I use Rain teams all the time & prefer Politoed. It just depends on your team & what you need. If you need a helping hand booster or a Pokemon with Encore then go with Politoed. If you need Tailwind & something to smack shit around with Hurricane then go with Pelipper.

Both are good, they both serve the purpose of setting rain but after that they have different uses.
