>>43298834I'm too lazy to go back and (you) each of you but you're acting like it's completely ridiculous that these two Pokemon, which have a remarkable number of similarities to each other's prior evolutions in a manner consistent with how gen 1 handled evolutionary changes, were switched during the design process because someone thought it looked more interesting if they didn't evolve as predictably/they wanted Ash to have something more friendly in the anime.
It's not like dragonair evolving into Gyarados or Milotic because hurt serpentine, there are so many clear similarities that it's retarded not to think that something happened here, even if it was early on.
