>>43295516The only really big Pokemon in LGPE are Onix, Gyarados, and Alolan Exeggutor, and all of them are relatively easy to show at true scale because Onix and Gyarados coil up to a reasonable size and Exeggutor just goes off the top of the screen, with Pokemon like Wailord or Eternatus in SS (or XY/SM) you'd have to account for their insane length and width meaning every area you fight in would have to be absurdly large to accommodate them.
They can show true scale in Colosseum/XD/BR because all the places you fight in in those games are proper arenas, you don't have to worry about cramped caves or dense forests. This is also why you can only Dynamax in specific arenas that are an appropriate size.
