Why is the electrike line in SWSH when they made new electric dog?Those two slots could gone to better pokemon also the Yamper line is better

Probably for the same reason that D/P's regional dex included the Wooper and Barboach lines in the same games that introduced Shellos and Gastrodon.

Go through the new Gen 8 Pokemon. Look at the Pokemon that remind you of an old Pokemon.
