For gen 1-3 I could pick like six or seven mons for water, grass, fire, bug, rock and ground types, but with gen 6-8 I feel like there's 4 or 5 total pokemon I actually really like and the rest is just filling the spots. Makes picking an in-game team much more easy now though, like a fast food menu.
